God is in Total Control!!!
This is the first time in history that mankind all over the world cannot make plans the way they always do. Why? Because of COVID-19. But God is using it to fulfill His purpose. He does not waste a single thing. God is in total control. Proverbs 27:1 says, make no plans for tomorrow. In 2 Corinthians 4:4 the devil, “the god of this world”, was not given dominion over this earth. So, God created humans and gave them dominion over the earth. He also gave them free will to make their own choices and He does not go back on His word. Therefore, God can not lie and God is still in control. So, when God gave His only begotten Son to die and pay the price for our sins this gave Him permission to enter into the earthly realm and fight for lost human beings on this earth who are bound by sin. Jesus also at His resurrection from the dead took the earth back from the devil. In Ephesians 4: 9-10, it says, “Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things. Therefore, we see that God is the God of this earth and He is in total control. God not only has permission into this earth, but He also has access into the lives of people because He lives and dwells within us.

The church doors are closed all over the world because of the virus COVID-19 but God is using it for His glory. I believe this is the first time in history that God has ever taken the flock away from the shepherd (the pastors). Now, Jesus is the shepherd of His flock all over the world. Jesus declared in John 10:14-15, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. Jesus is also showing us that He is about ready to take over His kingdom on earth and to lead His children. In the past, God used the patriots, for example, Moses, Noah, apostle Paul and Peter in the Bible to shepherd His flock. Jesus shepherded His flock for a short time while He was on earth but then He was crucified, raised from the dead and went to heaven, leaving the flock for the shepherds to care for His sheep. Jesus also said, He is a jealous God and He will share His glory with no one. Paraphrased from Isaiah 42:8.
One of the reasons why the Lord is doing this is because He is dealing with His children individually. Each person has to look to Lord for himself or herself. Philippians 2:12 declares, therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. So, you see, Jesus is coming soon!. When He comes, He is not going to call us out by the name of our church. He going to call us by our name. Are we His church? yes, are we His bride? yes, but we will be judged individually. So, don’t look to anyone else, but run to Jesus! He is your Savior and deliverer. Trust in Him with your whole heart and pray without ceasing. He cares for you.
If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repeat this prayer after me. Say, dear Jesus, I am asking you to forgive me of my sins, come into my heart Lord, change me. Lord, I thank you for dying for me and I thank you for saving me, in Jesus name Amen. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
